He says men don't demand they command and that women should obey them. Women should wear sexy clothes when doing housework. And if you don't do what your man wants there are 10 other broads around the corner that will.

He's dreaming. Today's young women will never put up with being bossed around. My second husband, a JW and now my ex has figured this out. He thought he'd trade me in and get a younger, more obedient model. Guess what: he hasn't had any volunteers in six years! So he says he is happy being single. He can go and come and as he pleases and doesn't have to answer to any woman. Golly, where are his 10 broads??

Here is the Washington Post's review....

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/08/27/AR2008082703400.html?

His bottom line is the old and sucky point of treat 'em mean to keep 'em keen...

God forbid it would be actually about balance of work life, personal space and relationship.

I want Terry to read this book and give a review!

God, this reminds me of this song by Jack Jones called Wives and Lovers. Hey, it ain't the 60's anymore. I think Burt Bacharach and Hal David should sue the author for plagerism.

Wives and Lovers-----remember this dandy little gem?

    (Burt Bacharach & Hal David)

    Hey! Little Girl
Comb your hair, fix your makeup
Soon he will open the door
Don't think because there's a ring on your finger
    You needn't try anymore

For wives should always be lovers too
Run to his arms the moment he comes home to you
    I'm warning you...

    Day after day
There are girls at the office
And men will always be men
Don't send him off with your hair still in curlers
You may not see him again

For wives should always be lovers too
Run to his arms the moment he comes home to you
    He's almost here...

    Hey! Little girl
    Better wear something pretty
Something you'd wear to go to the city and
Dim all the lights, pour the wine, start the music
Time to get ready for love
    Time to get ready
Time to get ready for love

This explains the spike in divorce rates for the 1960's.
