Garden of Eden: A Biosphere Project?

Though not explicitly stated, there seems to be allusion to a population outside of the Garden of Eden. If the words of Genesis 1:28 is correct, could this be considered evidence of a prior population?

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:

According to a compilation of research from archeological findings and carbon dating some hypothesis now state that Neanderthals, Homo-Sapiens and Homo-Erectus most likely all co-existed together in some point and time and that one did not evolve into the other.

Here are some sites of interest:

"A speculative research paper examining current evidence available on Neanderthal man with comparison to references in early manuscripts of the Nephilim an ancient race of half-breed humans. The argument is presented that the scientific facts verify that the Neanderthal were in fact one and the same as the ancient warrior race the Nephilim. It is here proposed that an examination of the evidence and facts currently available on Neanderthal man reveal that they could well have been a race of half-breed humans referred to in some of the earliest manuscripts found as the Nephilim."

In the last chapter of Revelation, we are also told that there will exist a population OUTSIDE of the New City:

Revelation 22: 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

So according to this, there will still be a population on the earth which is NOT included in the new city.

    My questions:

    1. What happened to all the wicked supposedly being removed? Rev.22:15 says there are still wicked vile people on the earth but they are "outside" of the city.

    2. Could this be another Biosphere project where the "good servants" are isolated in some manner?

    3. Could Garden of Eden have been a biosphere project where variations and improvements were being made on humans?

    4. Could the "two trees" in the garden of eden been symbolic language for "family trees" or DNA lineage?

Looking forward to your answers. Thank you

See, they're taking the name "Nephilim" and some basic information as if it gives some creedence to the Biblical story. If one actually reads what the Bible says about the Nephilim, that they were "giants" and "bullies," the idea starts to unravel. The evidence shows that Neanderthal was no taller than cro-magnon, in fact most of them were shorter. It is odd that the Bible would describe a race of human/angel hybrids as "giants" when they are, on average, shorter in stature. Also, the most recent fossil of Neanderthal found is 24,000 years old, not just a few thousand as the Bible claims.

If there is a Neanderthal-Nephilim connection, it probably is extremely faint. Oral tradition has a way of evolving on its own. If there is a connection, it is most likely bred from archetypes started by oral accounts of cro-magnon/neanderthal conflicts. Thousands upon thousands of years of storytelling may have warped them into inhuman giants I suppose, but it seems like this article is trying to force the square peg of evidence into the biblical literalists' round hole by ignoring key elements like the fact that Neanderthal died out long before Noah was supposed to have existed, and they weren't giants.

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:

The NWT uses "fill' opposed to "replenish" the earth. I think you used the King James Version. But that is besides the point.

Comparing any translation of the Bible to Science falls short in many ways. To begin with, the 6 days of creation appears to be six literal days. The JW's don't agree with that, but the wording says otherwise. Every Creative day ends with "and there came to be a morning and an evening." Every creative day was a literal day. That doesn't correspond with the history of planet Earth.
