But Jesus said to him:"Do not you men try to prevent (him) for he that is not against you is for you".

    luke 9:50

in the wt library cd 2005 that i have, the references to this verse, when serched, are few and vague.

(on the other hand there are probably volumes on mattew 24:14).

what's your understanding on this verse?

    The verse in context reads:

49 In response John said: "Instructor, we saw a certain man expelling demons by the use of your name and we tried to prevent him, because he is not following with us." 50 But Jesus said to him: "Do not YOU men try to prevent him, for he that is not against YOU is for YOU." - Luke 9:49, 50

I think it is obvious as to what this verse means.
