I do.....enjoy creating images...right now for fun....someday, as I learn more , for fun and profit....

All my images are compositions. One thing I need is a good digital camera to build a stock library...I also enjoy taking pictuers of friends and others and placing them in various old move sceens and such....Any other shoppers out there? Show us some of your stuff........ Below are a few images I've done over the last several years....

Can I tell you a true story..too bad..here it comes anyway.

last saturday, I got an email saying a sexual offender had moved into my neighborhood,

long story short, it's actually a kid that photoshoped him and his friends faces onto some porn pictures for fun...but some of his friends were 16-17 and he did his photo shop stuff on his church's computer.

    but now's he's a registered sexual offender.

love photo shop myself, but haven't gotten alot of practice. any tips you'd like to share?

I used to do some photo stuff but not much these days. Nowadays it's just a bit of photo retouching here and there. Fun stuff though no doubt.

    Yes...practice..practice...practice...

Seroiusly...don't know what your weaknesses are....will tell you how I put one of the images togather....

The cat and golfish has ten layers that make up the image in total.. The goldfish bowl is a stock photo...a goldfish bowl on white background...that's what I started with, the bowl...decided it would look good on a table, but needed a background first...extracted the wall from another image. That gave me two layers.

Extracted the table...layered it between the wall and bowl layer. Thought a cat would look "kwel", found just the right one, but neeed something for the cat to sit on, thus the chair.

The washer, laundry and wine shelf are fillers for rounding out the image...Realized you don't have wndow less room, thus the window.

After all of it was "layered togather" thought it would be funny for the golfish to be packing heat. used a pen tool to give the fish it's expression with the pistol being the last layer. All the layers had to be blended. There are several filters and tools used to tweak and adjust an image.....All the images I posted were done in the same manner...some have more layers than others.

Needless to say, some of my images are junk, but I am learning everyday.

Thanks for taking the time to look at the pictures...

I don't do composites. Just standard retouching, photofinishing, and other boring stuff. I also do some designs for coffee table books and the like.

I know that feeling h4o....I would recomend Photoshop, or any image manipulation ware, to anyone...wether doing it as a lively hood, or for fun...it helps me relax...

Below is an example of "artwork" done with PS...it's not mine, it was done by someone I know, like me he does it as a hobby.....
