I know this has probably been mentioned on more than one occasion but I am curious if anyone here has any idea of the ratio of JW's and exJW's. I would like to know if their census is accurate.

Do you think the WBTS society's figures are completely accurate when it comes to newly inducted and current members?

How many do you think are disfellowshipped, disassociated, leave, fade, per year? And is this figured into the WTBS figures?

I created a graph and did some analysis on this some time ago:

    Thanks, jstalin.

I have always wondered the amount of new members ratioe'd against the world population explosion - I think if you put the two together, they're numbers are not increasing as much as they did in the past.

Sorry, I don't. I went through every kingdumb ministry issue to create that dataset. I would have to do the same for the numbers since 2004.

Does anyone know where i can get the latest watchtower cdrom? If I could find that, I could update the numbers.

  • Jehovah's Witnesses have the lowest retention rate of any religious tradition. Only 37% of all those who say they were raised as Jehovah's Witnesses still identify themselves as Jehovah's Witnesses.
