Results Chronic guilt, apath, depression, Joy, thankfulness, love,
failure, constant desire for approval guidance, service, forgiveness

Salvation by faith in Christ sounds to easy for many people. They would rather think that they have done something
to save themselves. Their religon becomes one of self-effort that leads either to disappointment or pride, but finally to eternal death.
Christ's simple way is the only way, and it alone leads to eternal life.

Both sides will argue their views with the same conviction, citing their own set of scriptures.

Logically, either one side will get salvation at the expense of the other, or another religion (or Christian view) will attain salvation at the expense of them both. Or absolutely none will, because there is no salvation.

Or perhaps they (we) all will, because there is a God and he/she/it/they don't really care about such trivial beliefs. So little so, in fact, that he/she/it/they haven't yet bothered to 'come down' and correct our mutually exclusive, mutually errant views.

Are you sure that it's the ONLY way?

I meant this as encouragement to people who are looking for the biblical way to salvation, not as a debate for which form of belief system is correct.

Worked for me! It is so simple and so hard to accept and understand this truth. And then comes real phylosophical truth - truth is simple but very hard to accept.

I've seen far too many christians make a mockery of the "salvation by means of christ" way. They put everything on a man that lived 2000 years ago - he has moved on. Look to the christ within.
