Hey all! I'm new here. I was just wondering if my congregation was the only one who organized treat night for after the Tuesday book study. It was pot luck (as most JW festivities were). That was te only thing that kept me going to the meetings.
Another question is did most of the weddings you attended for JWs seem to be at Rec centers or senior citizen centers? It seemed that the JWs attracted the poorest people who wanted pot luck weddings?

No, my congo seemed to implement the treat night after the bookstudy too. It took my hall about 10 years to do this and I was always jealous of my friends hall where they did it all the time.
I hated those bastards...........
Yes, again the weddings were all firehall weddings.
