After having posted on another thread, I have just remembered that a recent Koolaid Edition study said (words to this effect)

Some may say that a teaching might not be correct. After all , understanding has changed in the past. But truly obedient ones will not harbor doubts about what they are being taught.

I am exhausted & on my way to beddy byes, and would dredge to find it. Maybe "Energetic ones in the brotherhood" can help??

I'll find it tomorrow if nobody else has.

    Nite nite.

It is true! Harboring doubts is not only untheocratic but is a df offense. Biblically speaking we have what Jesus did with Doubting Thomas. He pummeled him about the head and shoulders, made a whip of ropes, and then whipped him like a red headed stepchild!

I am so tired of the jw's way of thinking. They act less and less Christ-like and more like stinking Pharisees everyday.

Truly obedient ones will obey something whether it is true or not, just because it comes from the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger. Which doesn't always, or even generally, result in righteousness.

Truly righteous ones will examine what they are being asked to obey. They will weigh it against whatever Master Guide to morality they happen to use, and if it doesn't fit, they will not obey. They will realize that anyone can make stupid mistakes, and corruption is always a threat. They will not have any part in obeying anything that is blatant corruption, regardless of the source.

Nor does it make a good situation for society when people are truly obedient instead of truly righteous. If they are truly righteous, they will analyze and not obey anything that is a blatant harm to society. For instance, I will not obey anything that is going to be bad for myself or for society (at least not willingly and knowingly). And most of the core teachings of Jehovah's Witlesses are harmful to self and/or society. Hence, I would rather obey the very simple core morals than obeying the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger.

I'd be interested in reading anything on this if someone can quote it.
