Yes, in 1914 President Woodrow Wilson declared that the 2nd Sunday in May each year was to be an honor of mothers, and so we celebrate 'Mother's Day'! What could be more important than that?
The Bible admonishes us to 'honor our father and mother' even if...................in some cases they do not deserve any honor! I did not start observing 'Mother's Day' until after my mother had died. Thanks, Watchtower!

It's another day obligating you to spend money. No thanks. My mother was an alcoholic. Do/did I owe her honor today and on her birthday and on grandparents day? And what makes you futile excuses for parents think that there should be a day in honor of your futility when you were only doing what you were supposed to do?
