Would you mind having a look at my thread below, please? I have just listened to the tapes and I hear a difference between the audio and the transcribed version that you posted on LDH's thread. I posted what I heard as the difference on the last post of that thread. Can you tell me the reason for the difference? I am assuming that you transcribed it personally after reading LDH's thread. I have spent all day on this! arrrgh Brown's answer was a lot more difinitive in the audio than on the transcription, imho.

btw.. years ago, I read your paper on the cross. I thought that it was excellent and have actually referred several questioning jws to it on another site. TY
