rarely i watch movies but last saturday while at the supermarket watched two minutes of a movie.
related to AI, virtual reality etc
a guy was seated on sophisticated chair and received somekind of electric shock, or "soft program" uploaded on his head.
after that everything he experienced was not real
there was more, but do any of you know what movie is that?
i want to rent it at blockbuster.

thanks, that's the one.
It kept my attention for a couple of minutes, may be is an old movie but i liked what i saw.
actually everything we experience are nothing but sensors we have that send signals to the brain, which some day may be duplicated somehow
once i see the movie most likely it will give me more to think about something i have in mind for some time, a really scary scenario.
i will post about it someday

Total Recall is an Arnold Schwartzenegger action sci fi movie. It's actually one of the better ones, IMO, but expect lots of shooting and explosions.

Total Recall was based on a story called 'We Can Remember It For You Wholesale' by the incomparable Philip K. Dick. I recommend you pass up the inferior Hollywood pablum and go right for the real deal in print. It's MUCH more interesting than the film.
when i was going to my therapist, she recommended i see the movie the matrix, i havent yet, but should, how one lives in a world of their own i think
