On Feb. 29, a woman can propose marriage to her beau. Has anyone here done that? Or has any guy had a marriage proposal? What did the lady say? What was the outcome?

I proposed to my ex in Sept. 1986. Unfortunately, she said yes.
So far no woman has proposed to me today, but I'm optimistic. I still have a few hours left!
Maybe I should get out of this damn basement so the women can find me.

Spaznik - its an old British tradition - called the leap year. every three or four years when we get a leap year it means the lady can propose to the man.

My second wife proposed to me, sorta.
We were slow dancing one night when she whispered in my ear, "When are we going to get married?"
I whispered in her ear, "If thats a proposal, I accept."
Six months later we were married.

I proposed to my wife. She excepted. It's every "proposition" since then that gets rejected! LOL Just kidding.
