I let my JW son use my 4x4 truck to go north on a snowboarding trip, so I borrowed his car...I find several pages of WT CD printouts, and as I was driving scanned them a bit. Nearly ran off the road when I saw this review question.

So they don't know us individually....and can't.....and yet say our thinking LIKELY NEEDS CHANGING!!! WTF?? This is like The Stepford Wives.......................................why, why, why, why could I not have at least woke up and ran back in 1995? I knew it was BS, but hung in there for about 11 more years............................................................oompa

I thought you meant that the WT was asking what THEY needed to change in their thinking. Got a whole laundry list for that one.

I know what change is absolutely needed in their thinking--no "likely" about it. Fully integrated honesty--if they would practice it, they would find out quickly why so many are leaving, and quickly do something to correct the root cause of the exodus. People would not be blowing off boasting sessions, because they would make them worth going to. And that would eliminate all the 90% of the time wasted on the do-more, don't miss meetings, don't visit apostate web sites talks.

I know that the Watchtower Society is not going to do that. Instead, they are going to enforce a more dependent attitude. Service is going to continue to get in the way of life. Remember, Jesus said that the truth would set us free, and that the load was light and not burdensome. Were they to use fully integrated honesty, they would make sure that the benefits would exceed the costs and enhance the joy of service instead of removing it.
