    Hey,

    I've had a few.

I had a rathke's cleft cyst and another tumour removed when i was 16, which was a tumour i'd had since birth but the doctors didnt find it till then. Ialso had a pituitary adenoma when i was 19, which was also removed.

no they didnt. The ones i had when i was 16, the only effect from them was that i became partially sighted, as my optic nerves had evolved and become a part of the tumours. The removal caused a mini stroke.

The one when i was 19, was removed without any problems but they did say afterwards that i had elevated prolactin levels, which they said would explain my large girls

    glad you are ok now

    thanks, me too.

I know in my case the pituitary gland effects the functioning of my thyroid - in a negative way. I'm on medication for the rest of my life - eltroxin & dyroxin -
