A public apology to Avishai and JK666

Well when I first came on this board, I swore I would never get into political topics and that I would never resort to name calling. I have since started diving head first into the political topics. I realize this was a mistake as it takes away from more important issues, like exposing the Witch Tower.

I dont know if I can restrain myself from the political arena, but I will at least give it a shot. The other night on a discussion, there were some very demeaning things said from both sides. In fact in one of my posts I responded with a demeaning reply, I quickly edited it, as that simply isnt me, I wont respond to attacks with more inuendo. That is why I no longer frequent other boards (JWO).

I will restrain myself, and if I cant debate without insults, then I wont debate. I still may disagree with you, but I wont resort to calling anyone ignorant, stupid, redneck, or anything else. I will play fair and I hope others will too. I gave the advice to stop using personal insults, and I was called to task about it, so I promised to post my apology. I apologize for being rude, but I make no apologies about my politics.

Now can't we all just play fair?

I did say that your ignorance on political matters never ceases to amaze me. That was factual and not intended as an insult. I regret that you took it as one. I believe I also said that you were deluded. But that is not a "name". It's a condition. But, stupid? Redneck? Never. I think you've confused me with someone else.

Imagine the face of the person you are talking to. Go find their picture. One day, you WILL see them. Know them. Face them. Imagine their face, and THEN type. Only then. These are people. It's not a game. Real people have died while we were watching here. Real people, who really can hurt. Words can kill. Be careful with them my friends because too many of us have died over this shit.

Thank you for the apology, although it really wasn't necessary. If I want to smoke dope or wear Birkenstocks, I will. Strangely enough, I am 0 for 2 in that category.

I am sorry if I inferred that you were stupid. I should keep my opinions to myself, but man, you just make it too tempting at times.

I would recommend that you further your education as a means of enlightenment. I really hate seeing anyone "crash and burn" like you did in political debates. Please take in more knowledge before being so dogmatic.
