    Hi everyone,

I am trying to find an old post I KNOW I've seen on here a year or two ago about the old testamant and how cruel God was to animals (I specifically remember it talking about horses being slaughtered in a very cruel way)

Can anyone help? I think it was a link to a web page about it.

    Thanks in advance

This is from the Aid to Bible Understanding pb 792 (the older blue aid)

"King David of Israel was mindful of Jehovah's prohibition against multiplyhing horses. In his victory over Hadadezer of Zobah, David could have added many horses to his army, but instead, he kept only the number he deemed sufficient for his immediate purposes and ordered the remainder to be hamstrung. (2SAm I*:3, 4; 1Chron. 18: 3, 4) This was also in keeping with the divinely authoized procedure followed by Joshua at the time of the conquest of the Promised Land. Joshua 11: 6, 9."

    Hope this helps.

Yes thank you it does, but there was a whole page of atrocities, it may have been about the cruelty of God in the old testament.

but this is a great start!

    Hi Poppy, there's a bible-based website about God's cruelty:
