A new poster has a similar sounding name (slimdf) and it recalled slim to mind...

Perhaps his tarnished JW conscience was bothering him and he returned to the fold???

I was wondering about slim too. He wasn't very well a short while back - I hope he is alrght.

I havent seen him about in ages to be honest and I still owe him a pint!

Sometimes controversial but always intelligent and well read - I actually quite liked him, even though we might have locked horns at various times historically.

Seems possible it could be the same person. I thought SBF posted not long ago though. Any of the mods should be able to see if the IP's match.

I dont see why he would bother setting up a new profile - its not as though he has left under a cloud. I know he could be controversial but I think he enjoyed this and would sooner post under his existing profile.

Yes, it's sad that I know this.

But I have spent alot of time here in the last 8 1/2 months and I also have very good recall.

The poster in question, slmdf, describes himself as being an ex-Bethelite that worked in photography while there.

I also recall that he lives in the Midwest U.S. and recently "came out", identifying himself as homosexual.

Wasn't Slimboyfat either Canadian or British?

He is British and he will probably be having a break for a while as some do from time to time.
