I recently found out that I knew PEC when we were both much younger. I recently met him again and his wife Barbara, and then this last Sunday PEC and Barbara came out here and spent the entire afternoon with me. What a treat! How nice to have some kind of connection to the past - one of the sad things about leaving the org. is losing all my friends and everyone I knew growing up. A couple of other threads today address the same issues - shunning and losing family and friends, starting all over again.
I noticed Barbara very quietly joined in the JWD forum and posted as Barbie Doll - she really is a sweet person with a nice husband.
