me: "Is it true you offer free home Bible Studies?"
jw: "Yes."
me: "Is it also true you report the time spent preparing and teaching the Study?"
jw: "Yes."
me: "Are you measured in any way by how much time you report? Does this give you any special privilege?"
jw: "Um.."
me: "How is that free?"

I think a witness would answer "no" to the question about the special priviledge.
Just as a heads up, in case this conversation ever comes true. I wanted you to be prepared. -

To be precise, they shouldn't report the time spent preparing. Only the time actually spent conducting it is counted (by the honest JW).
But your follow-up question could be "If you couldn't report the time, would you still do it?" I wonder how many would say yes.

I was actually asked this question in FS one time. I showed the person one of the scriptures where a census was taken, and some of the scriptures where other things were accounted for by recording amounts to "prove" that it was okay to count time.
I wonder why they never asked me to show them where Jesus counted his time in the ministry, lol. That might have got me thinking.
Oh, and when they asked me if I felt it gave me a better chance at salvation, I said no, it only kept me from being bloodguilty for not warning mankind.
