Interesting! I'm sure there were many Catholic 'heroes' during the war as with any other religion or belief system.
The problem is that Hitchen's 'opinion' is simply for discussion and he is not claiming to be gospel or even divinely inspired, so he is bound to be at fault as with any writer of any 'opinion that is open for discussion'.
