When Gordon Brown, the UK's prime minister returns from his first official visit with George W Bush, what do you think his impression is going to be?

Remember, Gordon Brown is a workaholic, a guy who was UK Chancellor of the Exchequer for over 10 year, highly intellectual and highly motivated. GW on the other hand; well pretty light weight - favourite book The Very Hungry Caterpillar?

My guess is Gordon will be thinking, "my God how did that fool get to be leader of the world's most powerful nation?"

He'll think what he already thinks, "that Bush guy is lazy to the point of comedy, incurious to the point of stupidity, and arrogant to the point it's dangerous".

    Hi eyeslice,

Good to hear from you. Didn't Brown get elected because he ran on changing policy, including the Iraq war? I don't know too much more about him, but if your description is accurate, I think he will wonder a lot about the stupidity and selfishness of Bush. One thing is for sure, he won't be Bush's puppet like Tony Blair was.

I watched a few minutes of a press conference that was on tv earlier today with Brown & Bush.

The reporters tried to ask Brown some questions and Bush wouldn't let him talk. Bush just jumped in running his mouth.

The reporter asked the question again and Bush jumped in - again - running his mouth. He acted like a child trying to keep all attention on himself! I was getting so irritated I changed the channel.

Sounds like Brown is over qualified. It does not take an intellectual giant to figure out Bush is an idiot.
