I have managed to stay at a job free of JW's except for one exJW who really wasn't one. An old workmate who's family is in but he isn't asked at the hall if there was an opening at my work for him, and his brother. I said yes hoping it would be him only. I was wrong his brother applied he hasn't yet. DOH !!!!

There goes what is left of my piece of mind. This brother is also courting a JW girlfriend to so I hope he is not in a lockstep mode or there goes my fade.

I hope it does. Maybe he will change his mind. My work isn't JW friendly work.

If you are a fader, I can see why you might be concerned; if not, there could be a problem if they become your supervisor. Otherwise, it's a good opportunity to know if a person has learned to set boundaries yet.

You know what some say, the fence belongs to the WTS. I find that if the only reason people are out of the WTS is to "screw" around, they tend to go back when the find someone still in the Borg. But that's just my observation over the last 40 years, 5go.

People with one foot in the Borg and one outside find that straddling a fence can be painful.

By that I'm guessing you do something JWs aren't supposed to do, like have to sell cigarettes, or working for a military contractor...maybe you don't have anything to worry about, since if the person wants the job, they must know it would violate the JW 'conscience', right?

No, it's mainly evening and weekend work it's in the food delivery business. Which is the primary reason for it not being JW friendly. Then there are also issues with getting the correct auto insurance. Being as he was a contrator who used his personal vehicle for business purposes. He would most like not care about that though. Also reporting tips correctly to the IRS can be trouble sometimes.
