  The Witchtower Babble and Trick Society says that their Master returned in 1918 inspected his followers and appointed the FDS.

  This Master being Jesus, and quotes Malachi 3:1-5 as proof.

  Now in WT of August August 1, 2007 p10. " The refining [of the annointed class] took place in 1918 when Jehovah sat as a refiner and cleanser in his spiritual temple."

  After teaching that the Messenger who clears "the way before me" is John the Baptist, now they say these verses refer not to Christ but Jehovah. The Messenger seems to be Jesus by this "New Light".

  How confused about the identity of Christ are these senile fools?

  Also they were teaching that the Annointed AND the Great Crowd are "declared righteous". The Annointed as "sons of God", the GC as "friends of God".

  p10 again: "The annointed are declared righteous and the "great crowd" is clean and pure in God's eyes."

  I don't have the litterature to expose the complete contradictions so invoke Blondie and Leo to help here.

  Have the personnel of the committee changed again, so others are putting forward thier opinions.

  Can we expect yet another change on the men of Sodom?

  The FDS being declared righteous right now is necessary in WT doctrine, because how else could imperfect people no different than you and me get to go to heaven and we do not. But they had to pacify the other sheep and say that they were God's friend and would be declared righteous at the end of the 1,000 years.

  I always wondered if God did a lobotomy some of the 144,000 to cure them of their inherited sin when it was going to take 1,000 years for the rest of humans in the paradise to reach the same state.

  It's an old teaching, not really a flip-flop just buried like the 7,000 creative day, and that Jesus in mediator only for the 144,000.

  What I could never understand is how did jehovah or Jesus cleanse them, how did all the dubs spread around the world go through the fire of persecution and get purified? It's a myth, there never was a universal organised persecution against them then or at any time since.

  Rutherford got jailed with five or six others but they brought it on themselves by acting subversively during wartime. Still they were only a few among tens of thousands of dubs.
