Any body watched 'Hot Fuzz' yet?

I watched it with the older kids on Friday night and again on Saturday night and we are still laughing about it!

Absolutely hilarious!!! Jog On!!! (Followed by large raspberry sound!)

Anyway, I can't see a police car go by anymore without laughing.

    Hi Gill!

I'm not much of a TV watcher so I don't know what you're talking about! LOL

I don't even know if there's a show by that name in the States.

Sure sounds like it made your weekend! LOL

    Take care. Hugs, Juni

Ah it's a DVD? Just saw the post. Still never heard of it! Have to look into it. Thanks.

free2think - Get down to your nearest video shop and get it! It is the funniest! Starts a little slow and ends climatically. Brilliant and a great story as well! Very topical in the UK as well!

Juni - It's a new British made movie! It's based on the Police BUT it is funny in the extreme! Deals with certain British themes such as our 'chav problem', hoodies, petty crime and major crime as well. But sooooooooo Funny! I woke up laughing on Saturday morning! Even the gruesome bits are hilarious! Recommended if you can get hold of it in due course in the USA!

    Juni,

It's a very funny film, but I think you'd have to be a Brit to truly appreciate it! There's a lot of US-style slo-mo action, but set in a UK village scenario, so you need to be familiar with our culture to be able to laugh at the parody. Very astutely made.

Thanks Tim and Gill for the explanation.

I LOVE Mr. Bean and Monty Python which we get over here. I know that British humor is different than here - some describe it as a little "dry"? Like wine? I don't know............ LOL

    Anyway..... I'll look for it.

    Hugs to you both, Juni
