Hello,
Would someone here be generous enough with their time to scan the current blood card- the one that I believe has the parts where you check off all the blood fractions that you can take? Perhaps there is an additional form that goes along with it as well?
I am still confused about what % of whole blood that is...
Also when the scan is put up (hopefully) could someone with some medical knowledge tell me what exactly these fractions add up to??? I hope this doesn't sound lazy but I can't seem to get a handle on the correct fractions when I try to look it up myself.

I think that if you add all the fragments up plus a little fluid (which the JWs allow too) .. you end up with 100% blood. So just ask them if they will take all of the fragments at once .. lol

Yep, you can have : chocloate chips, sugar, butter, eggs and flour, but not chocloate chip cookies !
The additional 4 page doc from Nov 2006 "How Do I View Blood Fractions?" (are you asking or telling me?) can be found on this thread:

Mary just posted the blood card here :

Thanks so much A + O- that's just what I was looking for.
Also I have another question: I had heard before that the JW-derived definitions of blood "fractions" are sort of arbitrary and that actual doctors or other medical professionals would divide blood up a little differently, like with more categories?
I heard that the JWs got their 4-component blood idea from an EMT pamphlet.
