Ut-oh.... Living in L.A., it's all over the radio.... the D.A. Rocky is really ticked off that she "walked" without his office being notified.

    Paris Hilton timeline

    The Associated Press

Here is a chronology of events since Paris Hilton's arrest last year.

Sept. 7: Officers arrest Paris Hilton in Hollywood for investigation of driving under the influence after she was spotted "driving erratically."

Sept. 26: Hilton is charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence.

Jan. 9: Hilton's lawyers enter not guilty pleas on her behalf to one count each of driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or above.

Jan. 15: Hilton is pulled over by California Highway Patrol and informed that her license is suspended. She signs a document acknowledging she is not to drive.

Jan. 22: Hilton pleads no contest to a reduced charge of alcohol-related reckless driving. She is placed on three years probation, ordered to enroll in alcohol education and pay $1,500 in fines.

Feb. 27: Hilton is ticketed for misdemeanor driving with a suspended license. A copy of the document signed Jan. 15 is found in her glove compartment.

March 29: The city attorney's office says it will ask a judge to revoke Hilton's probation.

May 3: Prosecutors recommend Hilton serve 45 days in jail for a probation violation.

May 4: Judge Michael Sauer sentences Hilton to 45 days in jail.

May 6: Publicist Elliot Mintz says he and Hilton have parted ways over an apparent "misunderstanding she received from me regarding the terms of her probation."

    May 8: Hilton rehires Mintz.

May 9: Hilton hires a new attorney, Richard A. Hutton, who specializes in DUI cases.

May 14: Psychiatrist Charles Sophy says in court documents that Hilton is "distraught and traumatized as a consequence of the findings at the May 4 hearing ... and her fear of incarceration."

May 16: Sheriff's officials say Hilton will serve 23 days in a special unit away from the general population.

May 17: Hilton drops an appeal of her jail sentence.

June 3: Hilton reports to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood after attending the MTV Movie Awards and saying she's ready to serve her sentence.

June 4: Hilton's attorney says his client is doing well under the circumstances.

June 7: Hilton is released from jail because of an undisclosed medical problem and is ordered serve the rest of her sentence in home confinement. Judge Sauer later orders Hilton to appear in his courtroom to determine whether she should return to jail.

    That's En-ter-tain-ment!

If you ever get a chance, you should look up the transcript from Tina Fey's interview by Howard Stern regarding Paris Hilton's appearance on SNL. It is hysterical.

She said Paris had "the hair of Fraggle", and left "nasty wads of Barbie hair on the floor" from her "cheap weave"!

She said that in real life Paris looks like a tranny!

Paris actually takes herself seriously and "embraces her stupidity". (clearly she is not too stupid to act crazy to get out jail)

She asked them to write a skit so she could play Jessica Simpson "because I hate her" "she's fat".

Paris was so uninterested in anyone else the staff had a bet to see if she would ask anyone something personal (like "how are you")

Who in the heck cares?! Paris Hilton can rot in that jail. The media is obsessed with this punk and people are dying around the globe for much bigger problems. We've got soldiers coming home in caskets, but they won't show that on T.V. Rather we get to here about Paris Ficking Hilton. There are people here in our country that can't even put food on their table, and this little turd is all over the news, getting all kinds of publicity and we're obsessed with her! It's nuts! Get a life!

I remember Martha Stewart getting put in jail, and actually having to do five months, for the heinous crime of selling shares of her own stocks and being forced into a corner to lie about it. That "crime" did no damage to society, save for those who cannot bear to watch her be spared losing money when she had reason to believe the stock was going down. That those were her shares to sell meant that no one else was deprived unfairly of anything by that sale.

Paris Hilton, on my understanding, did DWI. This is not the first DWI she did. As we all know, DWI is a crime that can result in traffic accidents. Since this is the third offense, obviously lesser punishments have not worked and she needs to be taught a lesson before getting into an accident where she could end up dead or paralyzed from the neck down in severe pain. If the jail time is going to stop her from doing another DWI that could result in her getting seriously injured, then they should make her stay in jail for the full time. Hey, there is no appeal or parole if someone gets killed or seriously hurt in an accident. Besides, someone else could be killed or seriously hurt.

Besides, it will serve as a warning to everyone else that drinking and driving is not tolerated on our highways. Does anyone else remember the Jingle Bells rendition--
    Drink and Drive,
    Drink and Drive,
    Drink and Drive and Die?

I am sure that if it keeps her in the news and if it gets people talking she is all for it.
