Apostasy.Apostasy is a standing away from, a falling away, defec-tion, rebellion, abandonment; it involves teaching falsedoctrines, supporting or promoting false religion and its holidays or interfaith activities. Those with sincere doubts should be helped, dealt with mercifully. Apostasy includes action taken against true worship of Jehovah or his established order among his dedicatedpeople. Persons who deliberately spread (stubbornly hold to and speak about) teachings contrary to Bible truth as taught by Jehovah's Witnesses are apostates.
Causing divisions and promoting sects. This would be deliberate action disrupting the unity of the congregation or undermining the confidence of the brothers in Jehovah's arrangement. It may involve or lead to apostasy.

…such offenses as fornication, adultery,homosexuality, blasphemy, apostasy, idolatry, and SIMILAR GROSS SINS…should be reported to the elders and handled by them.
Comments:
Either directly or by inference, calling into question such things as refusal of blood to infants, the disfellowshipping of rape/molestation survivors/advocates, the blood issue in Bulgaria, or even the association of the Watchtower with the United Nations, would amount to “undermining the confidence of the brothers in Jehovah's arrangement.”, and “deliberately spreading (stubbornly holding to and speaking about) teachings contrary to Bible truth as taught by Jehovah's Witnesses”.
But more important than all this are the personal experiences of those to whom it has happened. There are too many stories by too many people saying they were df’d or forcibly da’d because of criticism of the Watchtower---even when the Watchtower later reverses itself and adopts the contended postion!!!!----for them ALL to be false. And what reason do these people have to lie?
