  THE WTS TEACHES JWS THAT ONLY 144,000 ARE ANNOINTED. HOWEVER, IF THIS IS TRUE, I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT JUST ABOUT THE END OF TWO THOUSAND YEARS OF JESUS' DEATH DID THIS NUMBER GET SEALED (OF COURSE, OTHERWISE, HOW ELSE COULD MEMBERS OF THE WTS BE COUNTED?) THIS MEANS, ACCORDING TO THE WT, THAT IN TWO THOUSAND YEARS THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH CHRISTIANS TO MAKE UP 144,000. I FIND THIS TO BE HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

  WHEN JESUS WAS ON EARTH, HE DID NOT EXPECT PEOPLE TO BELIEVE HE WAS THE SON OF GOD JUST BECAUSE HE SAID SO; HE BACKED IT UP WITH VISUAL SIGNS (LUKE 5:17-26)....HOWEVER, THE WTS CLAIMS THEY ARE THE ONLY GOD'S CHANNEL ON EARTH, YET THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY VISUAL SIGNS. AND JUST IN CASE, GROWING IN NUMBERS, ETHNIC AND RACIAL HARMONY, ETC. ARE NOT VISUAL SIGNS (BY THEIR FRUITS) OF WHICH WE SHOULD ACCEPT THEM AS GOD'S ONLY CHOSEN ONES. OTHER CHRISTIAN DENOMINATIONS HAVE THE SAME FRUITS. HOWEVER, THEY DO NOT CLAIM THAT ONLY THROUGH THEIR ORGANIZATION WILL ANYONE BE SAVED, INSTEAD THEY CLAIM JESUS CHRIST AS THE ONLY WAY TO BE SAVED.

  THE WTS CONTINOUSLY ENCOURAGE JWS TO PREACH MORE; TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS IN THEIR PERSONAL LIVES IN ORDER TO MAKE THE PREACHING WORK THEIR MAIN GOAL IN LIFE. MANY TIMES ONE HEARS AT THE MEETINGS THAT IF ANYONE COULD DO MORE BUT DOES NOT DO IT, THEN JEHOVAH IS NOT PLEASED WITH THIS INDIVIDUAL. YET, THE WTS HAS THE CHANCE TO DO MORE ITSELF BY REACHING HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS IN ONLY 1 HOUR OF TV TIME, BUT THEY DO NOT DO IT. THEN, ACCORDING TO IT'S OWN ANALYSIS, JEHOVAH IS NOT PLEASED WITH THEM EITHER.

  Heyfea, you're well on the way to powerfully using your abilities to reason and weigh up the evidence. Beware, though, JWs do not take kindly to people who have these abilities!

  YES YOU ARE RIGHT.........STILL, IF SOMEONE GETS UPSET ALONG THE WAY, IT'S OK....AS LONG AS ONE FINALLY GET TO THINK A LITTLE, I'M HAPPY.

  What do you think about the Society teaching: "that it was in the year 1914 that Christ's invisible presence had begun and that this was, not by his personally returning (even invisibly) to the vicinity of the earth: . . . ?

  You have made some interesting observations which shows an advanced undrestanding of why some JW doctrines are false. Things that are in fact common sense but the typical JW doesn't notice them.

  With the 144 000 the number is taken as being literal whereas everything else in that verse is taken to be symbolic. That doesn't add up.

  With their performance as God's sole channel on earth it is truly abysmal. Not only have they failed to produce any outstanding contribution to the understanding of true religion as one would expect from such great luminaries but they have made a total mess of interpreting many biblical verses.

  With preaching if this org had really been charitable and loving that would have been the best form of preaching.

  They are obviously a bunch of impostors with ulterior motives.

  The WTS seems to be rewritng history. Expect the literal 144,000 to become a symblic number. Remember Russel was not sure about this
