when i looked at the scripture that the "title" faithful and discreet slave is taken from, am i wrong or is it just PART of a parable about the the wise slaves ? is there really any "further" fulfillment of the story, or is it just a parable?

is the WTS just embellishing a story and assigning themselves a leadership role based on nothing at all? it seems so.

i would like more imput from our posters who love research.(i am not one of them)

why doesn't the wts place a title on themselves based on other bible stories? the fine and thorny soil illustration? the mustard seed illustration? etc.

S A D coming up soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yahoo. atleast i will get to talk to some people i don't see that often

It was simply a parable used by Jesus to drive home the point that every follower of his would be accountable for his actions, just like any slave of their day would

be accountable to his master for his actions. It wasn't the first or last parable he would use involving slaves or the teaching of personal accountability. The WTS used to teach

that CT Russell was the "faithful servant." Lokk aroung the site. There are many threads on this topic.

It was arrogance at first Russell claimed privately that he was the FDS then Rutherford changed it to the entire body of dubs being the FDS then the anointed only but in practice it was only those running the org that were the FDS.
