At one time the Society said what they felt was going to happen publically and proudly with no fear of what action may be taken against them. These days its all about what they don't say.
Their failed prophecies and history as an organization leave them stuck in a position of trying to fit in with all the nonsense they come out with and not pulling up any reminders while doing so.
Thank god that the Society made the mistakes it made and more importantly that we heard of them...or we wouldn't be free
