Atheism is my religion, Science is my god?

Well said. It's so true. This is pretty much the way I think. It would be nice to think that there is an entity that cares but I don't see ant evidence of it. What I do see is just what the guy says. It is science that is taking care of many of the problems in the world. No lies no threats no nonsense. Thats what I see wih my eyes. When I look at religion I see confusion broken promises lies and wanting.
If religion does not keep pace with science advances they start to become like a dinosaur. It would look awfully ridiculous for the church to teach that the earth is still flat yet they condemed Galileo for teaching this. They are responsible for stunting the growth of the mind and civilzation always lags behind because of this. Religion is a menace to society.
It is in fact man that is solving his own problems. I just hope in the end that good will triumph over evil because it ais also man that could destroy himself not god. I could see religion to a large extent being a cause of this too.
