It depends on whether one believes the gospels, according to these Jesus's ministry lasted more than a mere year and through his outstanding teaching and above all his miracles he proved to be a lot more than the typical religious teachers that appeared every now and then. He was welcomed as a king by the people of Jerusalem at one stage.

Jesus, who? Oh you mean the jesus, messiah, that not even the Qumran sect mention in there obsesive compulsive history writing, not to mention no mention of christanity. Yea that jesus. Sure he exists... only as a figment of our imagination, which swirls in the empty rooms of our head...
