Has anyone prepared an analysis of the WTS/GB's typology?

Do the WTS/GB have rules for applying types and antitypes, or do they apply them to verify a predetermined conclusion?

They definitely only write articles to support their own predetermined conclusions.

Read any of their commentaries on Isaiah, Daniel or Revelation, and they force any biblical symbolism or visions to apply to themselves, or force any interpretations that don't really make sense in context to fit their own ideas. For example, anyone who reads Revelation in context in the bible, would never come to the conclusion that the 'Great Crowd' is an Earthly class. If the writers of 'Revelation - It's grand climax at hand' were being honest with themselves, they would have seen this, but rather than accepting that the bible says what it means, they had to play with the book to make their preconceived idea that the Great Crowd is an Earthly class make any sense. So they use rather poor explanations to make it appear as if they're dealing with obvious contradictions between the bible and their doctrines. Their Revelation commentary is biblical eisegesis at it's worst.

I was gonna reply, but Zico stole all the fun stuff to say.

Just kidding. It is to support either preconceptions or forecasted changes. When they notice a trend or need they begin scouring Scriptures to find a way to apply an ancient type to the trend or need. The doctrine on "Given Ones" (the Nethinim) is an excellent example of this, as is the change on the meaning of "generation".
