My band was playing in the club that we always play in every weekend, and during a break, the other 3 guys were just chatting backstage and I walked up in the middle of their conversation. They were obviously talking about church/religion and such. So one of the guys looks at me and says, "You go to church, right?" And my response that seemed to come out involuntarily was: "Yep sure do." By the time I said it, I realized that I don't go to the Kingdom Hall anymore. So they asked, "what chuch?" and I said "kingdom hall of Jehovah's Witnesses". Then I had to explain how I'm not actually a JW anymore because of the many problems that I have with the religion, but if I had to choose a place of worship, I would choose a KH over any other church.
Kinda wild though how I didn't even think about the question and that just came out.
