    Bible

Gen 9: And God went on to bless Noah and his sons and to say to them: "Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth. 2 And a fear of YOU and a terror of YOU will continue upon every living creature of the earth and upon every flying creature of the heavens, upon everything that goes moving on the ground, and upon all the fishes of the sea. Into YOUR hand they are now given. 3Every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for YOU . As in the case of green vegetation, I do give it all to YOU . 4Only flesh with its soul-its blood-you must not eat. 5 And, besides that, YOUR blood of YOUR souls shall I ask back. From the hand of every living creature shall I ask it back; and from the hand of man, from the hand of each one who is his brother, shall I ask back the soul of man. 6 Anyone shedding man’s blood, by man will his own blood be shed, for in God’s image he made man. 7 And as for YOU men, be fruitful and become many, make the earth swarm with YOU and become many in it."

8 And God went on to say to Noah and to his sons with him: 9 "And as for me, here I am establishing my covenant with YOU men and with YOUR offspring after YOU , 10 and with every living soul that is with YOU , among fowls, among beasts and among all living creatures of the earth with YOU , from all those going out of the ark to every living creature of the earth. 11 Yes, I do establish my covenant with YOU : No more will all flesh be cut off by waters of a deluge, and no more will there occur a deluge to bring the earth to ruin."

Noah and his sons were allowed by Jehovah to add animal flesh to their diet after the Flood, but they were strictly commanded not to eat blood. (Ge 9:1, 3, 4) God here set out a regulation that applied, not merely to Noah and his immediate family, but to all mankind from that time on, because all those living since the Flood are descendants of Noah’s family.

    Noah

Jehovah blessed the Flood survivors, commanding them: "Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth." Then he made new decrees for their welfare: (1) He kindly allowed them to add the flesh of animals to their diet; (2) but since the soul is in the blood, the blood was not to be eaten; (3) capital punishment by duly constituted authority was instituted. These laws were to be binding on all mankind, as children of Noah’s three sons.-Ge 1:28; 9:1-7; 10:32.

After making these decrees, Jehovah proceeded to say: "And as for me, here I am establishing my covenant with you men and with your offspring after you, and with every living soul that is with you, among fowls, among beasts and among all living creatures of the earth with you . . . Yes, I do establish my covenant with you: No more will all flesh be cut off by waters of a deluge, and no more will there occur a deluge to bring the earth to ruin." The rainbow stands to this day as a "sign," or reminder, of this covenant.-Ge 9:8-17; Isa 54:9.

    Rainbow

    Covenant.

The rainbow covenant was made between Jehovah God and all flesh (human and animal), as represented by Noah and his family, in 2369 B.C.E., in the mountains of Ararat. Jehovah stated that he would never again destroy all flesh by means of a flood. The rainbow was then given as a sign of the covenant, which endures as long as mankind lives on earth, that is, forever.-Ge 9:8-17; Ps 37:29.

What I get out of all this.

    Blessing, Command

Jehovah blessed the Flood survivors, commanding them: "Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth." Watchtowers explanation of this = don't worry bout it ?? Agree

    Rainbow Covenant

Jehovah stated that he would never again destroy all flesh by means of a flood.

    Agree

    Decrees , Everlasting ???

    (1) He kindly allowed them to add the flesh of animals to their diet.

Disagree,Obviously not an Not everlasting decree.

Oops watchtower forgot to say added

all flesh of animals to their diet. This decree was then

rescinded under the law covenant, and then later reestablished by Peter.

    (2) the soul is in the blood, the blood was not to be eaten

    Disagree,

Oops Watchtower forgot to say flesh with blood was not to be eaten.

Mark 7: 18 So he said to them: "Are

YOU also without perception like them? Are YOU

not aware that nothing from outside that passes into a man can defile him, 19 since it passes,

not into [his] heart, but into [his] intestines, and it passes out into the sewer?" Thus he declared

    all foods clean.

    (3) capital punishment by duly constituted authority was instituted.

    Agree

    What say you ?
