Is Any Watchtower Lie Ever Enough?

You really gotta wonder what kind of a scandal
it would take to finally awaken Witness zombies
    from their deluded stupor.

I'm enjoying this exposure of the current situation
in which they suckered publishers about support of
the U.N. It's a lot of fun. Yet, how much will it
accomplish? They dodged their deceit about 1975 and
suckered Witnesses in for yet more decades (mea culpa!).
If obvious false prophecy doesn't stop them, what
does? I'm starting to think these corrupt old geezers
could give Bill Clinton lessons on pulling your pants up
off the floor and saying you didn't do anything.

Can this sick cult survive like the Vatican? -
sofisticated diplomats and agnostic clerics at the top
and poor peasants who crawl on bleeding knees to
the local cathedral, at the bottom?

Again, the best hope for "reform" may be the "men in
the middle" - the Society lawyers, C.O.'s, the guys
who are highly skilled, they can't do without.
These men (and some women) may be the greatest force
for change in the organization. I believe they are
quietly getting sick of the whole ugly mess - and
just like the young Soviets who wanted rock music
and blue jeans instead of empty propaganda,

they may crash the whole system. ( and maybe lead lesser
Witness-zombies towards a nice relaxed Unitarianism)

I wonder what kind of "incentive package" they give their lawyers etc, just to cover up their paper trail.

I believe that the defection (and subsequent publicity) of Barbara Anderson can only help others with inside knowledge get the truth out. I would love to see it open the floodgates of public exposure. The coming months will be interesting indeed.

    Hello Metatron,

    a very good point!

    I do like this part:

"Again, the best hope for "reform" may be the "men in
the middle" - the Society lawyers, C.O.'s, the guys
who are highly skilled, they can't do without.
These men (and some women) may be the greatest force
for change in the organization. "

Let's wait ...and see, the sun IS shining!!!

Greetings, and thanks again J.C. MacHislopp
