The answer is yes. The only real worry he'll have is passing the test.

my freind had failed three times now.
another guy i know failed for reading the smaller line in the eye test!!!!
i would love to be one maybe i can join up as a forest fire fighter
once i move to canada. or mountain rescue, now thats cooooool.
