Put together some newspaper scans relating to Judge Rutherford. The archive I had access to is incomplete so there could have been much more to put in this file. But, I think it's got some interesting scans.

I was amazed how much more effort the WT Society used to put into advertising than it does now. I was surprised to see the ad right after JFR's election as WT President. Perhaps this was put in those papers which had been publishing Russell's sermons?
I also added a page (page 21)where the National Association of Broadcasters decided to not allow controversial figures (Fr Coughlin, Rutherford and others) to buy unlimited time to preach their views. They weren't just against Rutherford. He was just part of the problem.
I also omitted to thank Wild Thing for sharing some of these scans with me originally and telling me about the data base on ancestry.com.
