I recently heard something about a 1989 prediction that Armageddon would be all over by 2000. Apparently this was printed in one of the WT's and the wording was changed to something a little less specific in the yearbook. Can someone help me out with the details on this?

    Guess what? They changed it!

The Borg's leaders realising that this was a 'blue' which could catch them out as false teachers, not at all faithful as a slave class, decided to cover over their sin, so that the CD-ROM Watchtower Library 1999 shows this Watchtower reference as stating :
"He was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our day."

What do you call people who cover over their sins?

Isn't trying to cover over a sin, itself a sin?

Is this the action of a "faithful and discreet slave"?

    Cheers,
    Ozzie

Neither the German CD-ROM nor the German Reprints have been changed.
