I just wonder if someone knows to whom the voices belong when it comes to the various CDs/cassettes issued? The Bible is read on cassettes and in mp3 format, some of the major books are on CD and cassette, some booklets on CD and cassette - who are the readers? I know Swingle read some, but what?
Just an "uninteresting" question on "Whose voice'?"

I don't know whose voices were used in the Watchtower recordings but I think it's funny the way the name Jehovah is pronounced/emphasized in pre-recorded dramas and the like. The suspicion in me says it's a mind-control ploy, re-enforcing the word as a talisman held up against Satanic evil.

I remember the booming voice which reminded me somewhat of the ten commandments movie (which I love). The idea is to give the average JW the feeling they are protected like the Israelities.

I do know that the voice on the old 'Great Teacher' book cassettes is brother Jack Barr of the Governing Body (little old Scottish man). I also heard that he wrote that book. Have to admit it's about my favourite WT publication that little pink book.
