I think this speaks to all of the ironies that you have mentioned. The light and darkness that exist for balance. The lie is that something can exist without remaining in the concept and definition of its existence. The truth is that concept and definition can only come from the One who created it.
The 'meaning' is the spirit of a word. Only the one who creates them knows the true meanings that they symbolize and the spirit that they are meant to contain. Words are symbols of a thought. The thought itself isn't something that can be seen, it can only be perceived by others after its manifestation in words.
When Christ, the One identified as the Word, the perfectly lawful Son, died in a manner that made Him sinful and lawless, it brought all things to chaos, in a manner of speaking. When what is lawful is declared lawless, what is the result? The thought no longer fits into its definition. The words themselves become empty and meaningless, therefore, nonsense to the one perceiving them.
But God didn't die. His Thoughts didn't die. His Spirit didn't die. The True meaning of the Word didn't die. The Word is God's Name, which means "I AM THAT I SHALL PROVE TO BE". The Word is the Seed. The Seed in the Beginning of Life. There is no Life without conscious understanding, and the Word reflects and leads to that understanding.
Words are the seeds to understanding. Words are fruitless if they aren't understood. The Law was never understood by the men who received it. They couldn't grasp the Spirit of Love and Mercy in which it was conceived. They didn't come to know the Owner of the Word that gave the Law meaning. All they could grasp was a curse, not a blessing. They couldn't prove to be the sons of God with their lack of understanding.
When the meaning of a word is understood, the purpose of the word is completely fulfilled. Christ showed the true meaning of the Law by the love he showed. He died to do away with that which wasn't fulfilling the purpose, due to lack of understanding. The Law proved to be incomplete. It was meaningless to men because they didn't perceived its true Spirit. He manifested complete understanding by His Sacrifice. The Mosaic Law is no longer because it's purpose has been fulfilled through Him, who revealed the Law to be nothing in itself, but a guide to His Path.
The Life of the Seed is the Proving of the Fruit...bringing the Spirit to Fulfillment...the comprehension of the Meaning. The Fruit is the End result, the Fullness of Understanding. The Fruit is the I AM. The Amen. All seeds have to die. Those that don't bear fruit and those that do, they all have to die. They contain the Spirit of Life, but aren't complete in themselves. By dying, Christ was fulfilling the Purpose. He had to die to prove to be the Fruit.
In one of your other ironies, you mentioned that stars are still being created. That's because it's still going on, it's still the sixth day, in our time. "And God proceeded to bless the seventh day and make it sacred because on it He has been resting from all His works which He created FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING." The creating is still going on in our time. ALL HIS WORKS were created for that purpose. Everything that He has conceived and defined. By the Sacrifice of the Seed, Christ, He has brough ALL HIS WORKS back into the designs of His Purpose.
Death still exists for the flesh because Life hasn't been fully brought to Fruition. The flesh has to be consumed by the Spirit. The world doesn't perceive its end. It still tries to reach perfection through works of law. It doesn't see that it is lawless. Satan still rules the world because the world still believes the lie that its own works aren't dead. It remains in death because it is not proving to be a new creation.
Satan has been conquered and his purpose is coming to its end. He still has authority for a little while, until the Spirit manifests the end of that one who thought he could live forever in defiance to the Spirit of the Word. He's getting his own way as a reward for his error. He gets to reside in the flesh which has been defined and limited to the assignment of death, for the Life of the Spirit, which is eternal.
Revelation 13:6-8 And it opened its mouth in blasphemes against God, to blaspheme His Name, and His residence, even those residing in Heaven. And there was granted it to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them, and authority was given it over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. And all those who dwell on the earth will worship it; the name of not one of them stands written in the scroll of Life of the Lamb who was slaughtered from the founding of the world.
All things have been created by and for the Word. Yahweh. The Proving of the Spirit. The Amen. The I AM.
Hebrews 13:15 Through Him let us always offer to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of the lips which make a public declaration to His Name.
