Quite awhile ago I was watching on television a pair in an ice skating competition skate to an instrumental version of music that was in The Matrix movie. Anyone have an idea of what music from the Matrix would be suitable for use in an ice skating competition? --VM44

I think this might be part of the music I remember to which the skaters skated.

What a horrible title for a piece of good music!
But I also remember some operatic voices in the matrix movie, that would have been in a different piece of music used either in the movie or in its trailer. (It appears that some music used in The Matrix trailer was not used in the movie itself)

I have all three of the Matrix sound track CDs if you need any more information on it. And, I quite like "Clubbed to Death."

There is another piece of "Matrix Music" that I am thinking of, it was used only in the trailer for the movie and has a orchestral chorus signing "AAAAAHHHHH AAAAAA", which is appropriate to play when someone wakes up from being in the Matrix.
From reading the Wiki article on The Matrix soundtack, I believe this music I am thinking of is the long version of Enigma's "The Eyes of Truth".
I have to check if one can still order this.

hmmm, sounds like "clubbed to death" again. I can't think of any other track on the first album, "ahhh aaaa" other than clubbed to death.
By the way the first album is by far the best, full of rocking hits, the albums to the other follow up films turn into film back ground music, a bit boring and nerdish. The first album to the original movie rocks.

By the way, a lot of the music is a lot heavier (metal \ industrial) compared to that beautiful track you mention.
