Have anyone noticed that from one hall to the next that the rules for the use of the brothers is different? Over the years I've notice this:

One congregation required the brothers that attend there have 10 hrs a month, never miss a meeting and be 18 or older

One congregation required the brothers that attend there have 5 hrs a month, regular meeting attendance and be 15 or older

One congregation required the brothers that attend there to be regular in service, regular meeting attendance and be 15 or older

WTBS leaves it up to each body of elders to decide- doesnt this show division at the congregation level?

    what has been your experience?

For such a monolithic organization, there sure is a lot of personal politics at play on the local level.

Unfortunately, being a top-down organization means that the local elders and MS's can't control anything other than is what is beneath them...their own cong. And they make a point of being in charge there, too.
