On our French ex-JW forum, we are just discussing about the cross.

The Watch Tower likes to cite a certain Parsons, John Denham who wrote, in 1896, "The Non-Christian Cross".

The book is available in the "Gutenberg Project", with the possibility to download it.

But what we try to find, its is a short biography of the author. Who was John Denham Parsons ? Apparently, there is nothing on internet.

    No idea ?

    Thanks in advance for help.

You might try asking at The New York Public Library.

I know; you're in Belgium. That's OK. Go to the website of The New York Public Library "Ask Us" page

    http://www.nypl.org/questions/

where you can chat with a librarian online or send them an email.

You do not have to be a member of the NYPL to use this service.

Librarians are ALL ABOUT information - they LOVE doing research.

Best of all, if there is no information available, they will make some stuff up for you. OK, I'm kidding about that.

    Give it a try - it's FREE!
