    Watchtower Resources

It seems that the majority of the individuals on this board have done there
research concerning the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society fairly well. The
gathering of information from multiple sources is very impressive and that
    needs to be mentioned.

    Old Watchtower Journals

There are certain individuals on this board who I would like to directly question
    regarding their research. For example:

    • Just exactly where do you get your sources of information? Are they reliable?
    • Do you still have old Watchtower literature?
    • Would you be willing to help someone with research regarding the history
      of the Watchtower Society?

Any advice or responses to expand upon this research would be greatly appreciated.
If you can offer help, please do so.

    Respectfully,

Well, I'm not the greatest researcher......More of a "copy cat". LOL !!!

But, I can give you some ideas on where to get hard copy material.

I check out used book store for old books. You may not find old "Watchtower or Awakes", but books like "Salvation", "Life", "Children" all writtenby Rutherford, which I picked up at used book stores, plus NWT's, "Knowledge" book, "Live forever" book, and so on.

I also found two different copies of the "Awake" magazine, in a V.A, Hospital, that are pre-1995 and have the old "Creators promise of the 1914 generation in it, so that to me is like "Gold" !

Also the "Salvation" book, c1939, by Rutherford that has the Beth-Sarim "house of princes" article in it, which differs from the W.T. cd library, 2004 edition, that says the house was "built for Rutherford".

I think there are sites that others here know that you can send away for scans and such, on material you need, too.

editted to add....Get yourself a filing cabinet, and categorize subjects, before you get too much material. It will help you keep things sorted out.

    Hope this helps.

    Well,

I do have a "theocratic" library which goes all the way way back to Russell with the books. My wife insisted I throw out some of the bound volumes when we moved and then got upset that I had. The books are all packed away right now since I don't have the shelf space. So right now I use the 2001 CD rom and a number of sources from the net when I seek out material.
