Ok, I took an online personmality test that a university sent me as the first screening test. It was so dang dorky. It had 4 different colors that you could turn out to be. Then my task was to email them back the results and tell them my opinion about the acuracy of the test.
Anyhow...do you think I over thought the process? I heard from a friend that they only wanted to see if I could spell right.. LMAO
I can be so damn dorky. Is that a word?
Simple enough...
So here is what I sent:

BLUES are motivated by INTIMACY. They seek to genuinely connect with others, and need to be understood and appreciated. Everything they do is quality-based. They are loyal friends, employers, and employees. Whatever or whomever they commit to is their sole (and soul) focus. They love to serve and give themselves freely in order to nurture others' lives. BLUES have distinct preferences and have the most controlling personality. Their personal code of ethics is remarkably strong and they expect others to live honest, committed lives as well. They enjoy meaningful moments in conversation as well as paying close attention to special life events (e.g. birthdays and anniversaries). BLUES are dependable, thoughtful, and analytical; but can also be self-righteous, worry-prone, and moody. They are "sainted pit-bulls" who never let go of something or someone, once they are committed. When you deal with a BLUE , be sincere and make a genuine effort to understand and appreciate them.
Opinion of accuracy:
Based upon the readings of the Blue color code, my first inclination was to be a bit flattered and think that they had pegged me right on the money. For all except for a very few things are absolutely correct. But based on life knowledge and a need for facts, I decided to split up the quiz and separate the different traits. Then calculate how many traits I had in each color. That way I would be able to formulate an opinion with fact included in the decision process. After looking at the data, I can now say accurately that there really is not much accuracy in this test. It is too general and in the taking of the test there were questions posed that all of the answers appalled me. In order to complete the test a decision had to be made, but I do not feel it is wise to have to attribute characters to your personality as a child that were negative if they did not exist.
My final thought on this matter is that, on the other hand, this test may have been perfectly accurate depending on what you are looking at the results for. If you are looking for a person who will make decisions to obtain a goal that do not feel good, then perhaps the question without an answer I did not like may have been exactly the tool you needed. This just being one example of all that you can tell by the persons response to this test could possibly make it extremely accurate if the reader of the results does a paradigm shift and looks at what can be gleaned from this test and its processes.
I have attached my findings in a chart form below and along with it is a copy of how I broke up the questions. Note that although the trait quantity under each color is not the same, there are too many aspects of my personality similar to each color to try to substantiate this test’s accuracy by this data.
Thank you for taking the time to read my opinion and I look forward to hearing from you again after you have analyzed my response.
Sincerely,
Sara xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
