    To opposers of Jehovah's people:
It may suprise you that this newly discovered humanitarian unity as a result of this week's tragic events has been the hallmark of Jehovah's Witnesses for many decades --not just in the United States, but all around the world among individuals of all nationalities and cultures.

The only thing is... in order for this peace to exist, it has required each one wanting to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses to become neutral and separate themselves and become "no part of the world" as Jesus said his true followers would be. --And it didn't require a terrorist hitting a skyscraper with a jet...
    Any questions?

This newfounded unity and false piety on the part of the many around us makes me sick.

They forget so quickly about all the abhorrent behavior they have been carrying on up until just the day before.

Any of them remember the crowd in Seattle Washington who were cheering on some suicidal woman standing on the edge of a bridge to "GO AHEAD AND JUMP! YOU'RE CAUSING A HORRENDOUS TRAFFIC JAM!!"

Or the multiple murders that occured near Sacremento, California in two separate incidents.

Or the woman in Houston Texas who drowned all five of her children.

Or the woman and her boyfriend who were arrested just last week near Dallas for beating the woman's young 18 month old son to a pulp -causing his death and eliciting comments from authorities that it was the most grisly case of child abuse they had ever encountered.

    The underlying sickness remains...

"Take good care not to practice your righteousness in front of men in order to be observed by them; otherwise you will have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. Hence when you go making gifts of mercy, do not blow a trumpet ahead of you, just as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, They are having their reward in full." Mt. 6:1-2

Of course, from what I can see there aren't any gifts of mercy, just good old fashioned bragging. Oh, and putting down other people.

Some have ridiculed the increased attendance at Kingdom Halls. All Churches experience increased attendance during times of trouble.
