Here is a funny Clayton Woodworth story Jim Penton told over at ChannelC. --VM44
Clayton Woodworth prepared the JW calendar because he thought that the Gregorian was too heathenish. You may see a copy of this calendar in Apocalypse Delayed as taken from the Golden Age. Anyhow, there is evidence that suggests that Rutherford agreed to have Woodworth produce it. Naturally, when it appeared in the Golden Age, ordinary Witnesses started to use it and to write letters to Brooklyn using it. Of course that caused great problems from the standpoint of keeping books. So Rutherford "trimmed" Woodworth before the entire Bethel family, calling him "an ass." In response, Woodworth said, "Yes, Brother Rutherford, I am an ass." Then Rutherford answered, "I'm tired of you admitting you're an ass."

There are lots of them (from Clayton Woodworth) in my Golden Age thread. I like the footnote he gave in one article describing himself getting punched in the face during field service. Or the article describing how Spain's refusal to allow Rutherford give a talk there led to a fulfillment of Bible prophecy when Jehovah caused it not to rain in Spain all summer!
