There are specific gods to do with bronze(Perkunas???)
POssibly bronze was considered to a sacred metal.

Well badboy, every precious metal and stone has some sort of special meaning to many different spiritual paths. Really, if a JW was to try to expunge everything with any sort of "pagan" connection from their lives it wouldn't be much a life... also, they could hardly even be a Christian since even the sacrement has "pagan" connections (roots?).
