Ooops, I do not know why I keep making that mistake and submitting these forms before I have written in them.

Well what I wanted to share is that last Thursday evening my husband and I went downstreet to do some shopping and were on our way home when we drove by the Kingdom Hall. We have not gone by the KH during meeting hours in years. I was shocked. There was around 25 cars. Now there is also a a book study as well as a regular meeting going on at that time. Ok, it was not quite time for the meeting to start but very close.

Used to be at least 50 to 60 cars and that was WITHOUT the book study that is now in the back of the hall on Thurs.

If I have all my facts right about the 2 meetings that are held simultaneously now then this is a terrible lack of attendance!!!

Wished that I still had contacts there and I could ask what is going on! Wht is amazing is that this congregation was divided many years ago and last year they purchased new land in a very, very expensive part of the area ( up by the airport) . I am really curious!!

I have not heard whether or not they have broke ground up there or not. I hate being in the blind.

Cab I enjoy driving past the mostly white KH on North Cedar ave in Fresno and seeing mostly empty lots.

Of course the Spanish congregation down on Cedar and Shields is bursting at the seams.

Could have been assembly week, and the main meeting was cancelled? Only the bookstudy from another congregation meeting there that night?

I'm with you LDH.........my father told me last Sunday there were about 30 people at the Sunday meeting. Isn't that a shame?

I should drive by the KH here. Wonder how they're doin'....actually, no I don't. I don't care at all. LOL

Its a beautiful day for a change, though. I could see some skipping the boring meeting to enjoy the sun. It's supposed to start raining again Wednesday.

Yes, but Luna----that's showing a total lack of appreciation for the bountiful/spiritual food that's being provided for us by the Faithful and Discreet Slave!! Why d'ya think they build KH's now with no windows? So's ya can't look longingly outside and wishing you were anywhere but where you were.......
